LOS ANGELES, CA – Grooby announced their sponsorship of the Transgender Erotica Awards (TEAs) category for ‘BBW Performer of the Year.’ The 2020 TEA nominees will be announced in the weeks ahead.
“We had a version of this category years ago with the ‘Voluptuous Diva’ Award at the TEAs and, of course, BBW performers are eligible in our other major award categories,” said Grooby’s owner, Steven Grooby. “We decided to bring this category back because of the growing visibility of BBW performers in trans porn and wanting a specific category to celebrate that. Diversity in porn is important because it shows others there isn’t just one way to be desired.”
The recipient of the TEA Award for ‘Voluptuous Diva’ was awarded to performer Michelle Austin back in 2014.
